Royal Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Jersey City. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing, servicing and repairing residential and light commercial HVAC systems while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

·       Inspect, diagnose, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems

·       Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections

·       Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues

·       Work closely with dispatch and management to complete jobs efficiently

·       Follow company safety standards and procedures

·       Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

·       Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, sketches, OEM instructions, and equipment specifications.

·       Utilize various hand tools, power tools, testing meters, and material handling equipment to perform assigned duties.

·       Perform soldering, brazing, and welding as required.

·       Identify equipment malfunctions, defective materials, and unusual conditions, and promptly report them to management.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of performing duties that include bending, kneeling, lifting, and working in confined spaces. Must be comfortable climbing ladders up to 30 feet, walking multiple flights of stairs daily, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

·       Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and field service software.

·       Experience servicing HVAC systems.

·       Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

·       Provide exceptional, high-quality customer service on every job.
