Job Description
The list below is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this job title. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and tasks required of personnel so classified.
Hands-on preparation of all food items served, which shall be in accordance with recipes and prep lists and based on all production standards.
Utilize various kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, and steamers.
Adhere to proper food handling procedures.
Maintain proper production levels according to estimates on the production sheets.
Maintain proper rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness.
Collect leftovers, cover, label and properly store according to all production standards.
Maintain clean and orderly refrigerators, freezers, and all other storage locations. Ensure that kitchen equipment and workstations are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized throughout the entire shift.
Receive, date, log, and store deliveries as assigned.
Adhere to Board Policies and Regulations.
Ensure that all kitchen tools, keys and equipment are returned to their designated secure area.
Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment in accordance with local and state regulatory authority requirements.
Adhere to safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
Complete all required training.
Ensure district email is regularly checked.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and act in a professional manner at all times.
Be prepared to work promptly at your scheduled start time in proper uniform each day and remain in proper uniform until the end of the shift.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
