Overview
The Supervisor, Private Sector Programs will be responsible for leading and supporting instructional staff serving students enrolled through private school partnerships, scholarship programs, homeschool partnerships, microschools, and other nontraditional educational initiatives. This position partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure instructional excellence, operational compliance, exceptional partner support, and the successful implementation of partnership agreements while promoting high-quality educational experiences in a virtual learning environment.

• Leadership & Oversight
  
  
  • Supervise teachers serving private sector and partnership programs.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and instructional excellence.
  • Lead regular team meetings to ensure consistency across programs.
• Curriculum & Instructional Leadership
  
  
  • Ensure implementation of high-quality curriculum aligned with partnership requirements.
  • Monitor instructional quality and student outcomes.
  • Support innovative instructional models designed for partner organizations.
• Teacher Coaching & Development
  
  
  • Conduct coaching cycles and evaluations.
  • Support professional learning and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding of instructional staff.
• Student Support & Engagement
  
  
  • Monitor student achievement across partnership programs.
  • Analyze data and develop intervention strategies.
  • Ensure timely implementation of student support plans.
• Family & Community Engagement
  
  
  • Serve as the primary instructional liaison for partner organizations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with private schools and educational partners.
  • Address partner concerns and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Operations & Compliance
  
  
  • Monitor compliance with contracts, scholarship requirements, and state regulations.
  • Coordinate reporting, audits, and documentation.
  • Ensure operational efficiency across all partnership programs.
• You will play a key role in our collective success by proactively pivoting to support emerging business needs and strategic priorities directed by your manager.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

• A minimum of 3 years of successful teaching or educational leadership experience.
• Experience working with school partnerships, choice programs, or alternative education models preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience analyzing instructional data and coaching educators.
• Proficiency with virtual learning platforms and educational technology.
• Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home-office) infrastructure.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity.
• Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
• Experience supporting school partnerships, scholarship programs, private school initiatives, or alternative education models preferred.
• Previous instructional leadership, coaching, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a virtual or blended learning environment preferred.

Education & Certification Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate.
