Core responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and CNC equipment to meet exact specifications.
• Read and apply blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine operations and tooling.
• Monitor machines during production; adjust offsets, feeds, and speeds to sustain quality and efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized station and uphold all safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with teammates to streamline processes and elevate productivity.
• Document production metrics and maintain accurate records of each job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or machining certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience as a machinist and strong knowledge of machining processes.
• Proficient in blueprint and technical drawing interpretation.
• CNC programming/operation experience is a strong plus.
• Detail-oriented with a dedication to producing quality parts.
• Problem-solver who works well independently and in a team environment.
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing safety practices and standards.
