Role Description The Accounts Receivable Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in the Darien, CT office. This position is responsible for managing customer invoices, posting payments, and monitoring accounts to ensure timely collections and accurate records. Daily tasks include reconciling customer accounts, researching and resolving payment discrepancies, and preparing reports related to receivables and aging accounts. The role also involves communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances, coordinating with internal teams to resolve billing issues, and supporting month-end closing processes. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will help maintain efficient financial operations and support the overall accounting function.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess finance and accounting skills, including a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and basic bookkeeping.
• Candidates should possess analytical skills to reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and interpret aging reports accurately.
• Candidates should possess invoicing skills, including generating, reviewing, and updating customer invoices and payment records.
• Experience or knowledge of item fulfillment's and how to relieve inventory is a plus
• Candidates should possess strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and internal teams about billing and payments.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., NetSuite & Excel) is beneficial.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines are important.
• Prior experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting is preferred.
• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus.

• 100% On Site Position in Darien, CT

Compensation

• $55k to $65k
