Maintainer Electrician (EEMD)The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, testing, calibration, modification, maintenance, inspection repair and troubleshooting of electrical instruments, equipment, devices, controls and machinery used in a public rail transportation system. Candidate must possess the ability to use various electrical and testing devises as well as read and write schematic diagrams. Four (4) years journey-level electrical experience in the maintenance, calibration, testing and installation of (but not limited to) the following types of equipment (normal to high voltage):HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) SystemsBuilding and Infrastructure Electrical Wiring (AC and DC)Motors and Control SystemsStorage Batteries and Charging SystemsLighting Systems and TimersGenerators/transfer switchesSuccessful applicants will be allowed up to 6 months from the date of selection to obtain a CDL-B driver's license.Selection Method: Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
