In this rewarding role, you will provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders while helping them build healthier, more fulfilling lives.If you are passionate about recovery, committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered care, and enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team, we encourage you to apply.Compensation & BenefitsPay: $26.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience and credentials.Benefits include:Health insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Retirement planCEU reimbursementOpportunities for professional development and career advancementSupportive, collaborative, and mission-driven work environmentScheduleFull-timeMonday through Friday9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.No weekendsKey ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' treatment needs.Provide individual, and group counseling sessions focused on substance use recovery.Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans.Monitor client progress and modify treatment interventions as needed.Facilitate psychoeducational, recovery, and relapse prevention groups.Provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals when necessary.Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care.Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and available community resources.Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and other required records in the electronic health record (EHR).Ensure compliance with COMAR regulations, Maryland behavioral health standards, HIPAA, and organizational policies.Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and continuing education activities.QualificationsPreferred Licensure/CertificationApplicants with one or more of the following Maryland credentials are encouraged to apply:CAC-ADCSC-ADADTLGPCLCPCLMSWLCSW-CLGADCLCADCOther equivalent Maryland behavioral health licensure or certificationPreferred ExperienceExperience providing substance use disorder (SUD) treatment in an outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), residential, or behavioral health setting.SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong assessment, counseling, and treatment planning abilities.Compassionate, empathetic, and culturally responsive approach to client care.Ability to establish therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.About Resolution Health and Wellness CenterResolution Health and Wellness Center is a trusted provider of behavioral health and substance use treatment services in the Halethorpe, Maryland community.
