IT Project Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role provides project management oversight for infrastructure service solutions including network, midrange server, storage, capacity planning, and monitoring. The selected candidate will work with Environments Management, Release Management, and other cross-functional teams to deliver Pre-Prod and Production environments while managing project milestones, status reporting, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide project management oversight for infrastructure service solutions including network, midrange server, storage, capacity planning, and monitoring
• Work with Environments Management, Release Management, Performance Testing, and Capacity Management to deliver Pre-Prod and Production environments
• Perform capital forecasting, planning and procurement for infrastructure products and services
• Provide technology estimates for resources and capital supporting client initiatives
• Manage WBS, milestones, status reporting, risks/issue management, and mitigation
• Coordinate with design teams, build teams, application teams, and Network Services for new technology solutions
• Demonstrate an understanding of customer's tactical goals and effectively participate in the development and implementation of business solutions
• Manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques
• Actively manage the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan
• Establish scope control procedures and develop documentation
• Monitor and report project status, assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation
• Initiate and maintain reporting relationships with project stakeholders
• Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals, or implementation

Requirements:

• 4-year degree
• 5+ years of experience in project management
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Experience with BMC Remedy

Pay range: $43.54 - $51.54 per hour
