Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has teamed with several prominent and successful companies in the Jacksonville, FL area to identify procurement and acquisition professionals for contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire opportunities.
- Responsible for full-life cycle procurement activities
- Evaluate bids, selects and recommends suppliers, and negotiates price, delivery, quality, and service
- Review and process purchase requisitions and pricing requests using the purchasing system
- Manage supplier performance to ensure adherence to terms and conditions
- Assist in the review of submitted contractor invoices to ensure accordance with PO terms and conditions
- Provide procurement support for proposal efforts as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
- 3+ years of Procurement experience
- Working knowledge of varied contract vehicles including FFP, T&M, IDIQ, and Cost-Plus
- Strong understanding of FAR, DFAR and other regulations
- Basic understanding of price analysis methodologies
- Experience in a CPSR environment
