Precision Manufacturing Equipment Operator (Level II)

Location: Hanover Park, IL

When something drifts from spec, you diagnose it fast, make adjustments, and log the results with care. You lean on blueprints and technical manuals to verify tolerances, keep your area spotless, and model safe practices. Along the way, you swap ideas with teammates to streamline flow and mentor newer operators on standards and techniques.

What You Will Handle

• Operate and continuously monitor multiple machines to maintain optimal output and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide setups and checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and enhance productivity.
• Accurately document production data and machine performance metrics.
• Assist with training new operators on equipment operation and safety standards.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• At least 2 years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for manufacturing.
• Clear communicator and effective team player.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
