Inspector

Get in touch:

• Adhere to all safety rules, guidelines, and lockout/tagout procedures for assigned equipment.
• Follow all SQF (Safe Quality Food) policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, housekeeping, personal hygiene, and auditing.
• Review job orders and production specifications to determine required paper or plastic stock for each run.
• Operate an electric hoist to lift, transport, and mount rolls of paper onto production machines safely and efficiently.
• Prepare rolls for production: splice new rolls, assist with threading paper through the machine, monitor paper flow, remove used rolls, and label/tag rolls for inventory.
• Assist with machine cleaning and maintenance, reporting any maintenance or operational issues immediately to the Inline Operator.
• Follow machine operating procedures under the direction of the Inline Operator.
• Read and interpret production orders and complete all required documentation accurately.
• Learn machine capabilities to ensure production can meet job specifications.
• Assist with product quality checks to ensure bags meet required specifications; make or support adjustments as directed.
• Support troubleshooting and minor repair activities to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, supporting general labor and housekeeping needs.
