Assistant Director of Nursing
Job Summary
Avir at Brownwood is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Assistant Director of Nursing will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department and ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients. Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care
Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes
Develop and manage departmental budgets and resources
Foster strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field (Placeholders for level of education)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a management or leadership role in a healthcare setting
Current RN license and CNA certification (Placeholders for additional requirements)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
