Description: Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm. On-call requirements include 2 weekends per month and 2 weekdays per week, specifically Wednesdays and Thursdays. This position will involve coverage for multiple facilities. The unit specializes in Cardiac Vascular Operating Room procedures. There is a 1:1 patient ratio. The unit's staff typically includes Operating Room Registered Nurses and Surgical Technologists. The types of procedures performed include CABGs, AVR, MVR, thoracotomies, ECMO, pacemakers, tracheostomies, and the Maze procedure. The documentation system used is Meditech. Dress code requires scrubs, which are provided in the operating room. The ideal candidate should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to function independently. This position is created to fill a vacant role within the department.
