Registered Nurse – Night Shift (36‑hour week) Job Type: Full Time Shift: Nights Only, 36‑hour weeks (12‑hour shift 7:00–7:30) University Hospitals Avon Rehabilitation Hospital is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital located in Avon, Ohio, committed to providing exceptional care. Essential Functions Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Qualifications Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio. Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. CPR/BCLS certification (ACLS preferred). Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
