IT Project Manager

Job TitleContribute to a team delivering high quality end-user infrastructure solutions and ongoing support, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, process optimization and driving efficiency across the organization. Provide cost estimates, justifications, and recommendations. Develop and maintain project planning and status documentation for delivery of new technology systems and lifecycle efforts.Essential Job Functions And TasksResponsibilities include the following related to technology project coordination:Coordinate actions related to our rollout of MS Teams video conferencing solutions across a geographically dispersed organizationPlan, organize and communicate tasks related to the rollout activities and timelinesTrack and synthesize detailed project information from multiple sources, formatting for executive-level reportingManage coordination with external vendors to ensure milestone and timeline adherencePartner with general contractors, subcontractors and internal facilities teams to support project delivery.Basic QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or higher.Experience: 3 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Strong project coordination skills are required.Ability to manage multiple input streams, engage with engineers, and communicate complex technical topics in easy-to-understand terms.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to present to large audiences including executive levels.High attention to detail and critical thinking skills.The right candidate will be a self-starter who is eager to learn and grow at AEP.Strongly prefer candidates in the the Columbus, OH area. This is primarily an in the office position and some travel may be required up to 15%. May consider candidates who can work from another AEP office such as Tulsa, or Roanoke, but there is a strong preference for candidates in Colmubus. Alpine Solutions Group
