HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 34 (department is physically split between 2 floors, 5th and 6th) Number of Staff – ~45 Type of staff: Depends on patient census Day Shift – Charge RN without patient assignment; staff nurses; PCTs Night Shift – same as above- no changes in ratios Patient Ratios – 1:4-5 (We occasionally flex to 1:6 if we have Med/Surg overflow) Traveler will be required to manage patio ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 Type of equipment – bladder scanner on each floor, Mobilabs for lab specimen labeling in each room, EKG machine, AccuVein, Virtual Sitter Cameras, W.O.Ws, Hoyer Lift, Sara Steady Lift, Sit to Stand Lift, Cortrak Machine to place Dobhoff tubes (core staff have competency), Ultrasound Guided PIV Machine EMR - Meditech About HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA At HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, healthcare is not just about the four walls of a facility but about the people who provide and receive care.
