Assess individuals across various age groups utilizing standardized evaluations and observational methodologies.
Create tailored intervention plans targeted at both immediate and future communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
Deliver focused speech therapy sessions enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical personnel, caregivers, and families to craft integrated care approaches.
Facilitate educational opportunities for patients and families to support growth outside therapy sessions.
Conduct periodic inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure cohesive care throughout the therapy process.
Manage thorough and timely documentation consistent with state, federal, and organizational standards.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
BLS certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
Expertise in applying evidence-based therapy techniques across all age groups, with a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Strong interpersonal skills tailored to communicate effectively with patients, families, and collaborative care teams.
Versatility in modifying therapeutic practices to accommodate various cultural and linguistic contexts.

Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and documentation practices.
