OverviewJoin our dynamic team in St. Louis, MO, as a Machine Operator! We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual who is passionate about operating machinery and ensuring production efficiency. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, contributing to the quality and success of our products. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with cutting-edge technology, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesOperate fabricating machines (shears, brakes, presses, forming machines, punches) to cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, and structures.Read job specifications/work orders to determine machine adjustments, material requirements, and required quality checks.Set stops/guides to specified lengths using scales, rules, or templates; position workpieces against stops or align layout marks with dies/blades.Activate/monitor machines during processing to ensure dimensional accuracy and part quality.Conduct minor machine maintenance (e.g., oiling) and keep accurate production records (quantities completed, documentation per work instructions).Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety policies.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.Proven experience as a machine operator, press operator, press brakes or in a similar role.Strong understanding of machinery and mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.Machines & technologies you'll use:Press Brake #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
