Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorWe are looking for a Quality Inspector experienced in Quality Assurance to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, Texas. This position is responsible for performing start-up and in-process inspection of injection molded plastic products as they come off of the machine.Primary Duties And Responsibilities:Perform start-up and hourly in-process inspections following established procedures and work instructionsVerify that blueprint revision called out on job traveler matches current blue print revisionVerify that the material type and color called out on shop traveler is correctVerify that the part being manufactured matches the part shown on the blueprintPerform color verification using the color computer and approved color dataComplete necessary paperwork and stamp job traveler indicating acceptanceFill out appropriate box labels and affix to outside of boxesMaintains clean and orderly work areasReports to work on time and adheres to lunch and break schedulesComplete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:Read and understand blueprintsAbility to use basic measurement toolsAbility to perform basic math functionsAbility to differentiate colorsAbility to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periodsAbility to walk and/or stand for extended periodsAbility to lift or slide boxes packed with partsAbility and willingness to change job functions at a moment's noticeMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English
