Inpatient Nursing Assistant

Role Overview Provide compassionate patient support by assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care and respond promptly to patient needs. Key Responsibilities Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting Support meal service and monitor patient intake Take and document vital signs, reporting changes Respond to call lights and patient requests Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Support patient transport and unit tasks Provide emotional support to patients and families Work collaboratively with nurses and team members Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred Completion of a Nurse's Aide program Previous healthcare or hospital experience Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred Work Environment & Requirements Perform in both office and patient care areas with frequent walking, standing, and lifting Work in a fast-paced setting with potential interruptions Use PPE as per infection control policies Exposure to cleaning solutions and disinfectants Serve patients of all age groups Additional Notes Access to patient information is role-based, with clinical access levels as specified.
