Join us!Summary of Role/PositionCarparts.com is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Assistant to work with the Facilities manager in the upkeep, maintenance, and/or repair of various equipment and items in the warehouse. The right candidate will have high attention to detail, can work without supervision and have a passion for maintaining a safe work environment.Partner with leadership (Facilities Supervisor, Operations Manager, Director of Operations) on maintenance work and special projects.Oversee equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections.Conduct equipment audits and maintain accurate records.Manage parts inventory and place orders as needed.Ensure compliance with safety, health, and security protocols.Coordinate and ensure completion of annual fire extinguisher inspections.Perform scheduled compressor maintenance (weekly, monthly, quarterly).Assist with battery care, including charging and watering.Maintain the cleanliness of the work area at the end of each shiftMaintain and repair, conveyor lanes, modules and all other associated components.Maintain and repair of the EM7 Packsize Box On Demand printers and gluers.Perform PIT PM's and repairs as needed.Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.You AreA Team player who can work with others.Able to fully carry out instructions as givenHave light electrical experienceHave light plumbing experienceComputer literacyAble to multitask.You have stellar communication skills.Flexible attitudeSelf-motivation and a determination to succeedCan manage deadlinesDetail OrientedPrior facilities experience in a warehouse.Physical RequirementsMust be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours a dayMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds constantlyCarParts.com is an equal opportunity employer.
