In this 492-bed healthcare facility, you'll work in a dynamic setting that is a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and a Primary Stroke Center, gaining exposure to a broad patient population and innovative clinical practices. Interact with diverse teams, experience the latest laboratory technologies including EMR: Cerner and Sakura tissue processors, and learn new leadership approaches under the guidance of an accomplished management group. The lab is equipped with advanced stainers, microtomes, and more, ensuring you'll build new, marketable experience while supporting high-stakes patient care.


Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform complex laboratory testing in compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory protocols.
• Operate a variety of laboratory equipment, including microtomes, tissue processors, and advanced stainers.
• Analyze and report results to physicians and other care providers for prompt diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure high-quality laboratory procedures within Blood Bank and Chemistry; experience in these areas is highly valued.
• Complete onboarding orientation (1-day NEO, 2-day site-specific) for a smooth transition.

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician; new travelers welcome with required experience.
• Active MLS certification.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR.
• Blood Bank experience preferred; Chemistry experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
