A leading automotive services company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support their team. The role is based on-site in Hayward, California, and offers full-time employment. This position involves maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical systems at multiple wash locations, ensuring optimal equipment performance. Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities Oversee the mechanical and electrical health of assigned wash locations and perform necessary repairs. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical components. Manage and order spare parts to keep inventory stocked for repairs. Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime. Document repairs and maintenance activities using a CMMS system or spreadsheets. Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least five years of experience with industrial or commercial equipment maintenance. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including working with systems up to 480 volts. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or in various physical positions. Welding experience and knowledge of PLC systems, conveyor mechanisms, pneumatic components, and water system plumbing are preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
