Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a dynamic inpatient unit that focuses on stroke and TIA patients, as well as higher acuity med-surg cases. The role requires flexibility in floating to other units based on needs and skill set.Shift DetailsShift: 18:45 - 07:15 (3x12)Weekend Coverage: Every Other WeekendStaffing RatiosThe staffing ratio during night shifts is 1 nurse to 6 patients.Patient DemographicsThis unit caters to a diverse age group, including adults and geriatrics, handling a variety of patient diagnoses:Stroke/TIASeizureSyncopePneumonia (PNA)Chest PainDialysisAcute Kidney FailurePost Heart CatheterizationRespiratory FailureEncephalopathyCongestive Heart Failure (CHF)SepsisUnit DetailsThis unit is focused on providing excellent patient experiences. In addition to primary diagnosis management, the team is capable of performing peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation.QualificationsActive RN license in TennesseeMinimum of 1 year of experience in a similar roleAt least 1 year of EPIC experienceACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are requiredFirst-time travelers are not eligible for this positionAdditional InformationCandidates must be willing to float to other units as necessary based on patient care needs and their personal skill sets. A strong focus on patient experience is essential in this role.
