Responsibilities As a Power Delivery Team Lead, you will build and lead a team of design professionals while managing complex Power Delivery projects in Texas and beyond. Establishing the primary local Power Delivery relationship with one or more strategic clients, overseeing project execution, driving quality and delivery, providing technical leadership, marketing new opportunities, and ensuring profitability. Managing and leading Power Delivery projects throughout the entire lifecycle, including scope and proposal development, team assignment, project execution, closeout, quality control, scheduling, and budget management. Mentoring, training, and supervising Project Engineers, EITs, Designers, CADD Technicians, and administrative staff. Leading the QA/QC process on projects per HDR's Quality Management Systems requirements. Overseeing non-engineering components such as public involvement, environmental permitting, right-of-way acquisition, construction management, and other services. Building, developing, and supervising a local Power Delivery team and overseeing workload, quality, utilization, morale, training, and annual performance reviews. Leveraging existing staff across the company to deliver world-class services to clients in the Texas region. Collaborating with team members across the region and nationally and balancing staff workload, quality, utilization, morale, and training. Establishing a network of relationships with technical peers in other offices for work-sharing opportunities. Coordinating with marketing and technical leadership to support business development opportunities. Supporting, leading, and engaging in broader business development activities for new opportunities with existing and target clients. Traveling for business development and project execution purposes as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years of related experience Minimum 2 years of project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience required (Access experience a plus) Demonstrated leadership skills Commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture #J-18808-Ljbffr HDR, Inc.
