The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading the organization's financial strategy, planning, analysis, and reporting functions. This role serves as a key business partner to executive leadership, providing financial insights that support operational performance, strategic decision-making, and long-term growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to drive financial excellence across the organization. Key Responsibilities CFO Dallas, TX - onsite $240-260k + bonus + equity Lead all aspects of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, KPI tracking, variance analysis, and management reporting. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reporting packages that provide actionable insights into business performance. Perform detailed financial and operational analyses, including trend analysis, profitability assessments, and dashboard development to support executive decision-making. Partner with business leaders across the organization to identify opportunities for growth, operational improvements, and cost optimization. Establish, monitor, and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and measure organizational success. Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and stakeholders through clear, data-driven recommendations. Foster a culture of financial accountability and business partnership across the organization. Collaborate with department leaders to develop performance metrics and ensure a consistent understanding of the key drivers of revenue, profitability, and operational performance. Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical tools to enhance visibility and decision-making. Support long-term strategic planning initiatives through financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including experience leading financial planning and analysis functions. Demonstrated success in developing financial strategies, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing executive-level financial insights. Experience operating in complex, growth-oriented organizations. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and advanced Excel applications. Experience working with business intelligence (BI), analytics, or reporting tools is preferred. Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs. Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
