The practice is nationally recognized for handling high-stakes securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, corporate governance disputes, and parallel regulatory proceedings in federal and state courts across the country.Locations: Boston, MA; New York, NY; or Palo Alto, CAHYBRIDCandidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in Massachusetts, New York, or California in good standing4-7 years of substantive securities litigation experienceExtensive experience litigating securities matters in federal courts and/or the Delaware Court of ChanceryExperience representing public companies, boards of directors, officers, financial institutions, and other corporate clients in complex securities disputesStrong background handling securities class actions, including drafting motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and appellate briefsExperience with shareholder derivative litigation, corporate governance disputes, and shareholder demand mattersExperience managing all phases of litigation, including discovery, witness preparation, depositions, expert coordination, and trial preparationFamiliarity with SEC investigations, enforcement proceedings, and related regulatory mattersExceptional legal writing, analytical, and research skillsStrong strategic thinking and sound business judgmentExperience working effectively within large litigation teamsDemonstrated commitment to client service and excellenceLarge law firm experience strongly preferredKey ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in complex securities class actions, shareholder litigation, and related commercial disputesDefend public companies, boards, officers, directors, and financial institutions in high-stakes securities litigation mattersDraft and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, and appellate filings in federal and state courtsManage all aspects of discovery, including document review, witness preparation, deposition strategy, and expert coordinationHandle matters involving shareholder derivative actions, fiduciary duty claims, and corporate governance disputesAssist clients responding to shareholder demands, internal investigations, and related litigation risksSupport clients facing SEC investigations, enforcement actions, and parallel regulatory proceedingsParticipate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and strategic resolution effortsCollaborate with attorneys across litigation, corporate, white collar, investigations, and regulatory practice groupsConduct sophisticated legal analysis involving securities laws, disclosure obligations, corporate governance, and enforcement mattersThis is a unique opportunity to join a premier securities litigation practice that regularly handles some of the most significant and complex disputes in the marketplace.
