About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and expansion. The CFO will be responsible for leading all accounting and finance activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. This role demands a strategic leader with a hands-on approach, capable of elevating financial processes, and partnering with operations to enhance business performance. The successful candidate will also be tasked with designing and implementing scalable financial infrastructure to support the company's buy-and-build strategy, as well as mentoring and developing the existing accounting team. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or public accounting background preferred. A strong technical accounting foundation and experience in financial reporting, close, controls, and accounting operations are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction services, project-based businesses, or similar environments, and experience with private equity-backed organizations and acquisitions is highly valued. The role requires a hands-on leadership style, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and lead a finance organization that can support the company's growth and expansion plans.
