Field Service Technician

Field Service Technicians to support the Verified Delivery (EVD) program by installing safety locks on customer bulk chemical storage tanks. This is a field-based contractor role requiring daily travel to customer sites, customer interaction, and adherence to established safety and installation SOPs.

Responsibilities:

• Report daily to assigned Ecolab fleet location to pick up equipment and receive assignments
• Travel to multiple customer sites per day using a provided vehicle
• Professionally represent at customer locations
• Install mechanical or Bluetooth EVD locks on bulk chemical tank inlet valves per SOPs
• Remove/install valve handles or approved lockout devices as required
• Activate locks and set combinations per instructions
• Attach required EVD identification tags
• Document installation results and issues in tracking tools
• Escalate access, safety, or installation issues as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable driving daily between customer locations
• Strong customer communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and safety procedures
• Basic digital skills (spreadsheets, phone-based activations)

Preferred:

• Field service, installation, maintenance, or light industrial experience
• Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Frequent driving; occasional overnight travel may be required
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift equipment, and work outdoors in varying conditions

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
