Maintenance Technician II - Days

Kent, WA site: 1034 Sixth Ave. North, Kent, WA 98032, USA Quanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician II - Day Shift to join our team located in Kent, Washington . The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing skilled maintenance and repair work on production equipment and facilities in order to ensure optimal performance and functionality. This position requires a thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems with the ability to work every other weekend. Health Benefits: medical (with FSA or HSA account options), dental & vision plans Supplemental benefits: company paid life insurance & AD&D, short-term & long-term disability, Employee Assistance Programs Financial benefits: 401K with Employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan eligibility Work-Life benefits: Paid Time Off (56 hours), Paid Sick Time (1 hour for every 40 hours worked), and Paid Holidays (up to 9 days annually) Education Assistance What Success Looks Like: Repair and maintain mechanical equipment and resolve intermediate to complex issues around machines and equipment Repair and recondition hydraulic/pneumatic systems (airlines, solenoids), as well as electrical equipment/components Maintain, repair, and modify conventional equipment Install plumbing, air, and electrical utilities necessary for machine operation Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts Install special functional and structural parts in devices Lubricate and clean parts Adhere to and complete work within the 5S standards, SOPs, and OSHA guidelines Maintain a strong safety focus with a willingness to adhere to safety guidelines What you bring: 4+ years of experience, preferably within an industrial manufacturing environment Advanced experience and knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair Proficient technical and systems experience, including CMM systems experience Ability to read schematics The targeted salary range for this position is $33.00 - $45.00/hour.
