We also support the most demanding OEMs in the commercial aviation industry.**We offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.** **Join one of the fastest-growing aerospace companies by** **!** **CNC Lathe Operator** **Department****:** CNC Lathe **Department/ Area:** Machine Shop**Position Summary:** The candidate will be responsible for operating the CNC Lathe, running, and checking production.**Daily tasks****:**Run two CNC lathes to produce aerospace fasteners meeting quality and production targets. Check bolts using precision measuring tools and gages. Record daily production into SPC and shop floor control systems **Position type**:**Requires full work time only. 8 hours a shift- Monday to Friday - overtime expected depending on production needs.** **Regular attendance is an essential job function.***This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. Aerospace Inc. 13928 Balboa Blvd Sylmar, CA 91342.**## Qualifications**Minimum Qualifications****:*** Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills* Ability to read blueprints* Do first Article Inspection* Lifting up to 40 lbs. and moving 40 lbs. pans with dollies.* Standing for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, reaching, and grasping to operate CNC lathes.**Reporting Relationships:** Director of Manufacturing and Plant Manager**Physical Demands:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to repeat the same motion by using their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls and use their foot to press a foot peddle. Strong attention to detail and the ability to concentrate for long periods of time. Hearing level within normal/average range.**Working Conditions:** First shift position.
