Position Title: Registered Nurse - ER

Location: Clinton, IL 61727

Duration: 13 Weeks

Work Schedule: Night shift (6:30pm - 7am) - 36hrs per week

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and treatment responses.
• Communicate changes in patient status and diagnostic results to ED physicians promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital policies.
• Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary departments to optimize patient flow.
• Respond quickly and accurately to emergency situations and changing patient conditions.
• Provide care addressing the psychosocial, physical, and emotional needs of patients.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EMR.
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate effectively as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.
• PALS Certification.
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience.
