Do you enjoy helping people, building relationships, and working toward goals? Andy’s State Farm is looking for a motivated Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our in-person team. This position is designed for someone who can provide exceptional customer service while also identifying opportunities to multiline and help customers with their insurance needs. Depending on your experience, strengths, and career goals, there may be opportunities to grow into leadership and management in similar roles. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career, not simply fill a position.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Sales & Customer Service Representative, you will play an important role in creating exceptional customer experiences while supporting the growth of the agency. You will work directly with customers, assist with their insurance needs, identify opportunities, and help build long-term relationships. This is an in-person position for someone who is comfortable working in a goal-driven environment and taking ownership of their performance. The right candidate will be someone who is coachable, motivated, and interested in taking on more responsibility as they grow. Bilingual Spanish candidates preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and consistent follow-up. Answer customer questions and assist with policy changes, renewals, applications, and account needs. Identify opportunities to meet additional customer needs through insurance products. Handle both inbound and outbound customer conversations. Follow up with prospects and existing customers in a timely and professional manner. Help retain existing customers by understanding their needs and providing solutions. Meet individual and team goals for customer service, retention, sales, and activity. Educate customers on their insurance options using a consultative, needs-based approach. Maintain accurate records of customer conversations, follow-ups, and activity. Take ownership of daily goals, activity, follow-up, and results. Work closely with the agency team to support a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture. Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as your skills and experience develop.

QUALIFICATIONS

Customer service, sales, insurance, or related experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Goal-driven and motivated by achieving results. Comfortable working toward measurable goals and activity expectations. Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable. Strong follow-up and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize customer needs. Coachable and willing to learn and develop. Comfortable having consultative sales conversations without using pressure-based tactics. Interested in taking on additional responsibility and growing within the agency. Must be willing and able to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses prior to starting.
