Dispatcher Assistant

Job Description

Panther Trucking, LLC is seeking a full time Dispatcher Assistant. This is an onsite Monday-Friday position with rotating weekends, (remote on call after hour nights) and holidays. Bilingual and Experience are a plus but not required.

Training provided!

Key Responsibilities :

Create and Maintain daily schedules with a fleet of over 30 trucks.
Use real time GPS tracking and company specific software to ensure safe routes are utilized.
Track deliveries and returns.
Emergency management control with immediate response of vehicle breakdowns, site delays, or road incidents.
Coordinate directly with owners, customers, drivers, shipping and receiving.

Required Qualifications :

Must live within 25 miles of Midland, TX, USA
Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly under high-pressure situations with drivers, owners, and customers.
Good communication and record keeping skills are essential.
Enforce DOT compliance including Hours of Service.
Ability to utilize GPS mapping, and industry specific software.
Effectively demonstrate time and location management. (Provide clear directions, time, and load specifications to drivers.)

Skills:

Bilingual is a plus.
Good communication both written and verbal.
General knowledge of Microsoft office, excel and the ability to navigate coordinates with GPS systems.

Panther Trucking, LLC established in 2014 is locally owned and operated with over 30 trucks in our fleet. We specialize in hauling OCTG products including drill and poly pipe. Several 1 ton trucks to meet smaller hot shot needs. Panther Trucking is licensed to haul in over 48 states. We have an onsite pipe storage facility, forklift services and trash protector trailers.
