Human Resources Generalist

Overview The Human Resources Generalist will serve as the primary HR resource for a growing organization of approximately 100 employees in the Oklahoma City area. This individual will be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll support, employee relations, policy administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts, including creating job postings, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating hiring decisions. Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and other recruiting-related activities to attract qualified candidates. Coordinate and execute employee onboarding and orientation processes. Support employee offboarding activities, including exit procedures and documentation. Assist with payroll processing and administration utilizing Paylocity. Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and HR‑related questions. Administer employee benefits programs and assist with annual enrollment activities. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Review, update, and help administer company policies, procedures, and employee handbook content. Support employee relations efforts by addressing questions, concerns, and workplace issues in a timely and professional manner. Assist leadership with performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development initiatives. Prepare HR reports, maintain documentation, and ensure accurate record‑keeping. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, procedures, and employee experience. Perform other HR‑related duties as assigned. Requirements 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a Generalist or similar HR role. Experience supporting multiple HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, and employee relations. Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements. Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll systems preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Additional Information Occasional travel may be required (less than 10%) for recruiting activities, career fairs, training events, and other business‑related functions.
