Contract Specialist

Mission-based organization in Chicago seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist Long-term contract Hybrid schedule (office located in the loop) Compensation: $35.00-$40.00/hour depending on experience Benefits: Eligible for quality healthcare plan (medical, dental, vision) through MindSpring + PTO Position overview Oversee state business registrations and annual compliance filings, serving as the primary liaison with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Maintain organized tracking systems, monitor deadlines, resolve documentation gaps, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of records, submissions, and compliance-related reporting. Support the full contract lifecycle by coordinating intake, conducting reviews and redlines, drafting and revising contract language, and partnering with internal stakeholders through negotiation, execution, and record retention. Candidate profile 2+ years experience handling full cycle contracts and compliance work Nonprofit environment a plus Paralegal experience a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred Excellent communication skills High attention to detail Related certifications are a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
