Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 12-week assignment in a split lab rotating between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology, open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Split lab assignment rotating between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call schedule includes approximately 9–10 call shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekends
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Active professional licensure required, if applicable
• Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
• Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurse not accepted) are highly preferred for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO is capped at 7 days and must be submitted upfront; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• No alternate shift or schedule requests are permitted; the posted day shift is firm
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
• No schedule requests or travel pair co-assignments on the same unit and shift are permitted
