Together, we are committed to a safe working environment for all of us.Your ResponsibilitiesOrganizes and plans the use of painting and blasting equipment and materials for the various projectsEnsures that the blasting and painting equipment is properly maintained and in a ready state of operationOperates spray painting equipment with brushes and rolls to paint the surfaceAbrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart specified finish using abrasive-blasting equipmentExamines and measures finished surfaces to ensure conformance to specificationsMaintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functionsWillingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned positionPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
