Senior Scheduler

Job Description Overview We are seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our Energy Market Team in Atlanta, GA. Your role Develop, maintain and optimize detailed project schedules. Monitor schedule performance and variance; provide regular status updates to project manager. Perform Critical Path Analysis, identify and analyze critical paths/activities to ascertain project completion in time and in budget, including forecasting delays and evaluation of alternative scenarios. Lead schedule update and review meetings. Identify schedule risk and opportunities. Analyze schedule impacts resulting from change orders or scope modifications. Support cost/schedule integration, including contractor schedules, and collaborate with Project Controls to ensure accurate progress measurement. Will be required to travel to Birmingham, AL, as needed About you Minimum 7 years of industrial project scheduling experience required. Primavera P6 experience required. Preferred experience in power plant scheduling Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across functions. Bachelor’s degree in construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field, plus seven years relevant experience. Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision-making abilities. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. Must have strong to excellent understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations; strong to excellent understanding of earned value concepts, calculations, and rules of credit; proficiency in Primavera scheduling products; and experience in analyzing contractor-prepared delay claims. Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
