Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,105–$2,167 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week for 3x12 schedule Start date: 07/13/2026 Shift: Nights, 3x12 Contract duration: weeks Setting: Acute care hospital, Medical‑Oncology unit (CHNE 4), 28 beds Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult medical/surgical oncology patients on CHNE 4, including post‑chemotherapy and post‑surgical care as part of the medical‑oncology service line. Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for responses and adverse effects; manage ports, IV starts/maintenance, and medications per physician orders. Monitor telemetry with dysrhythmia recognition; respond to changes in patient condition; operate PCA pumps and enforce isolation precautions and PPE protocols. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (nurses, physicians, unit secretaries, social work, case management) to develop and implement care plans; document in EPIC and educate patients/families on treatment plans and discharge needs. Maintain unit safety and patient advocacy; participate in rapid response/code events as appropriate; ensure accurate charting and timely updates to care plans. Floating within the service line as needed; no on‑call requirement; follow unit policies for overhead coverage and patient turnover.
