POSITION: Cable Technician - Technician II About the Role: As a Technician II, you will be responsible for installing and decommissioning network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment while ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry best practices. This role requires technical proficiency in pulling and terminating copper and fiber cables, performing splicing, troubleshooting circuits, and maintaining accurate documentation. A solid understanding of wiring schemes, testing procedures, and data center technologies is essential, along with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. What You’ll Do: Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment. Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement. Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders. Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness. Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices. Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles. Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work.
