Hospital Cook Temp to Hire Immediate Start
We're hiring an experienced Cook for an immediate opening in a hospital food service department. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to become a long-term position for the right person.
Pay: $17.50/hour | Weekly Pay URGENT NEED Start ASAP
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and cook meals for patients, staff, and guests
- Follow recipes, menus, portion sizes, and production sheets
- Work grill, saut, oven, prep, and other kitchen stations
- Prepare food for high-volume meal periods
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workstation
- Assist with prep, stocking, and other kitchen duties as needed
Experience Required:
- Previous professional Cook experience REQUIRED
- High-volume cooking experience strongly preferred
- Hospital, healthcare, university, corporate dining, or institutional cooking experience is a plus
- Strong knife skills and basic culinary knowledge
- Able to follow recipes and production sheets
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
- Must be available to start ASAP
