Senior Weld Inspector - WPS & Code Expert

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN Must be a US Citizen. Functions And Responsibilities Read and interpret complex drawings, weld procedure specifications (WPS), and welding symbols Ability to interpret welding code specifications Weld inspection tool usage: fillet gauge, V-WAC gauge, combination square, protractor, caliper, tape measure, flashlight, mirror, magnifying glass, temperature crayon, borescope Ability to determine welding requirements for Estimating and Sales Ability to answer welding-related questions or know where to direct questions Fully inspect weldments and sub-weldments Document results of inspections, including VT reports and weld maps Communicate welding nonconformances to Welding Supervisor, Welding Trainer, Welder Development Coordinator, Lead Weld Inspector Maintain material certifications and inspection documentation Label nonconforming parts Use calibrated measuring equipment where applicable Follow all safety procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required Good verbal and written communication skills is required #J-18808-Ljbffr
