Safety Coordinator (Electrical)

Charlotte, United States | Posted on 04/08/2026 We're seeking a Safety Coordinator (Electrical) to support one of our trusted clients delivering electrical construction projects with a strong focus on safety and compliance. This organization prioritizes field-driven safety programs and empowers team members to take ownership of jobsite conditions. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment. Objective Drive safety performance across active electrical construction sites by supporting compliance, reinforcing safe work practices, and implementing structured safety processes in the field. Key Responsibilities Conduct jobsite safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established standards Support implementation and enforcement of safety programs and procedures across field operations Monitor field activities and coach teams on safe work practices and hazard recognition Maintain safety documentation, reports, and incident tracking Collaborate with project teams to address risks and improve overall safety performance Qualifications Experience in electrical construction environments OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required Background in field safety with hands‑on jobsite experience Knowledge of EHS standards and safety compliance practices Familiarity with NFPA 70E and electrical safety protocols Experience supporting safety audits and inspections Ability to implement and reinforce safety processes in active jobsite environments Design Hire is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
