Job Title: Quality Assurance Associate

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Company: National Manufacturing Company

Shift: 1st shift $15hr, 2nd and 3rd shift $16hr

Job Overview:
The Quality Assurance Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of products by maintaining high quality standards. This position involves conducting thorough inspections and working closely with the production team to identify, document, and resolve defects.
This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality through effective documentation, containment, and rework processes.
This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with a national company. Once hired in, employees are eligible for pay increases at 90 days, 6 months, and annually , along with long-term growth and advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and document defects
• Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with standard
• Sort and segregate products requiring rework or containment
• Support containment and rework activities as needed
• Maintain accurate quality assurance records
• Follow all safety and operational procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation ( not on bus line)
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure or ruler
• Ability to pass a skills evaluation
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs consistently and stand for long periods
• Ability to bend, lift, stretch, and reach in a manufacturing setting
• Must have a working phone with voicemail (app-based time clock required)
• Steel toe boots or shoes required
• Must be reliable, on time, and able to work full shifts
• Willingness to travel up to 50 miles from YOUR home address
• Mileage reimbursement: $0.50 per mile for travel over 41 miles roundtrip ~ Travel required
