Overview Jewish National Fund-USA is seeking an experienced Digital Asset Management (DAM) Consultant to help organize, standardize, and future‑proof our photo and video library, which currently includes 10,000+ assets and continues to grow. We are in the process of implementing MediaValet our digital asset management system, transferring from Canto. This engagement will focus on designing and improving our taxonomy, metadata standards, and workflows, while leveraging modern DAM capabilities such as facial recognition, AI‑assisted tagging, and video dialogue/content analysis. The engagement is not focused on aesthetic photo editing or content selection, but rather on systems, structure, and usability. Duration: ~1 month Location: Remote, with a preference for initial on‑site work in NYC Total project fee range: $10,000–$15,000, based on scope and experience Start: ASAP Responsibilities Audit the existing photo and video library Review current organization, naming, and metadata practices Design or refine: Taxonomy and category structures Metadata schema (required vs optional fields) Naming and versioning conventions Advise on and help configure MediaValet features, including: Facial recognition and identity management AI‑generated tags and controlled vocabularies Video dialogue and content scanning Establish scalable best practices for: Asset ingestion and publishing Searchability and discoverability Ongoing governance and maintenance Deliver clear documentation and recommendations to support long‑term use Qualifications Proven experience as aDigital Asset Manager, DAM Consultant, Media Archivist, or similar role Hands‑on experience organizing large photo and/or video libraries Strong understanding of taxonomy design, metadata, and information architecture Familiarity with modern DAM platforms ( MediaValet experience preferred ) Experience working with AI‑assisted tagging, facial recognition, or automated metadata tools Comfortable working collaboratively with creative and non‑technical teams Able to balance rigor and pragmatism—knowing what matters and what doesn't #J-18808-Ljbffr Jewish National Fund
