If you thrive on building strong relationships, navigating union partnerships with confidence, and bringing structure and care to a growing new business, we want to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingAs our Human Resources Manager, you'll own the full HR function for this operation — recommending, developing, and administering policies and programs that support our people every step of the way.Administer HR policies and programs spanning recruitment, separation, employee relations, disability and leave management, benefits, classification, compensation, performance management, and trainingServe as our subject matter expert on labor relations and our union partnership, with full oversight of union agreement administrationLead staff recruitment and separations, including mass hiring initiatives to support this growing new businessCoach and counsel department managers and supervisors on employee relations best practices, policies, and proceduresPartner directly with employees to resolve sensitive or difficult work-related issues with care and professionalismGuide supervisors and managers on job description development, benefits communication, compensation programs, and personnel policiesOwn the performance management process, including counseling managers through annual performance reviewsManage sensitive, confidential information with discretion while collaboratively partnering across client groupsQUALIFICATIONSWhat You BringBachelor's degree in HR or a related field required; hospitality industry HR experience strongly preferredPHR or SPHR designation strongly preferredBilingual fluency in Spanish required3+ years of senior level HR generalist experience required; management experience a plusHands-on experience working with a unionized workforce is a mustStrong working knowledge of HR policies, employment practices, salary administration, and trainingSharp analytical, active listening, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems independentlyA steady hand for handling difficult or sensitive situations with tact, discretion, and confidentialityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and the political acumen to prioritize competing demandsA collaborative, team-first mindsetWhy This Role?This is a chance to build something from the ground up, with Eurest @Disney — shaping the people strategy for newly assembled team, while being a true partner to the operations leaders and hourly associates who bring our hospitality to life every day.
