Sales Consultant

Job Summary The Sales Associate is responsible for selling La-Z-Boy products and services, using customer service skills to achieve store goals and maintain customer trust. All sales associates must meet and exceed company sales targets while providing the highest level of service. Location Queen Creek, AZ Compensation Training pay: $22.00 per hour for 2 weeks (no commission). After training: Base pay of $45,864 per year with uncapped commission of 6% to 7.5% on individual written sales. Commission potential: No ceiling; earnings range from $60,000 to $100,000+ depending on performance. Responsibilities Guide high‑end clients through a premium sales experience and create inspired spaces with world‑class furniture and décor. Interact with customers professionally, providing the highest level of customer service. Drive sales by contributing to store sales goals and selling furniture, accessories, and services. Complete all sales paperwork, customer service issues and order information accurately and in a timely manner. Attend and participate in company training and store meetings. Assist in training, coaching and developing new peers on product knowledge and selling processes. Maintain orderly customer records, collect deposits and fees, and research customer payments and deliveries. Follow all company policies and procedures, including anti‑harassment, attendance and sales policies. Perform a minimum number of house calls to customer homes to complete sales and meet service expectations. Maintain a sales average consistent with company standards. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport and positively influence others. Vocational or technical training in the field of study. Ability to bend, lift, and stand for long periods. Reliable transportation to travel to customer homes. Preferred Qualifications Previous selling experience in a retail or luxury environment. Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with computer technology and ability to use sales software. Physical Demands and Work Environment Bending, lifting, and standing for long periods; interacting with customers and coworkers; focus and concentration are required.
