Job Description As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and personalized care to elderly residents in specialized care units, including dementia and rehabilitation units. You will work both independently and as part of a nursing team, assisting licensed nurses by providing direct care to residents and helping to maintain a safe and comforting environment. This position offers a 1/2 shift Baylor Night Shift from 6 PM to 12 AM, covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, along with a shift differential. Responsibilities Provide personal care including grooming, bathing, dressing, and oral care Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption Ambulate and transfer residents using proper assistive devices and body mechanics Assist residents with feeding and prepare them for meals Observe residents' condition and report changes to the Charge Nurse Support the development of individualized care plans through accurate data collection Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs Follow safety protocols to protect residents from neglect, abuse, and environmental hazards Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Experience in patient care and vital signs monitoring Strong communication and teamwork skills Effective time management and compassionate attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr Elk River Health & Nursing Center Of Ardmore
