About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director, Chief of Staff to join their People team. The successful candidate will directly support the Chief People Officer, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic operator. This role is pivotal in shaping the People organization's strategic narrative, driving clarity and execution against priorities, and running the operating rhythm. The Director, Chief of Staff will be responsible for preparing executive-ready content, acting as a connective tissue across the People leadership team, and owning special projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in business management, HR/People strategy, or related roles, with a strong understanding of how People organizations operate. They should be highly self-directed, with exceptional storytelling, synthesis, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence without formal authority. Candidates for the Director, Chief of Staff position at the company should have at least 10 years' of experience in a relevant field, preferably within high-growth technology, fintech, or complex operating environments. The role requires a professional with a proven track record of operating as a strategic partner to executive leadership, particularly in a People or HR capacity. Strong business acumen, operational discipline, and the ability to connect People priorities to the business are essential. The candidate should be adept at using AI tools to enhance the quality and impact of their work and must demonstrate the ability to manage complex, cross-functional workstreams from strategy through execution. Executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build deep trust with senior leaders are also key attributes for this role.
